SNACKS AND APPETISERS

CHICK PEAS AND SOYA TICKKI

*Preparation time:10 minutes   *Cooking time: 10 minutes      makes 4 tikkis

 Ingredients

cup boiled and drained chick peas (kabuli channa).

cup soya granules

1 tsp finely chopped mint leaves

1 tsp finely chopped green chillies

1tsp finely chopped ginger

salt to taste
Other ingredients

1 tsp oil for cooking

PROCEDURE

  1. Soak the soya granules in hot water for 10 to 15 minutes.Drain and squeeze out all.
  2. Blend together the chick peas,soya gtanules and mint, in a blender to a smooth paste.
  3. Add the green chillies,ginger salt and mix well.
  4. Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape into round ,flat tikkis.
  5. Cook them in a non stick pan using a little oil till both sides are golden brown.

Serve hot with a chutney of your choice.
